B&W drawings and illustrations throughout. An early important work on air power. VERY interesting article, chapter VI "Heavier than air Craft" by Nevil S. Norway, 32 pages, 1. The Land Aeroplane, 2. The Flying Boat. This is of course Nevil Shute who became such a widely read novelist, On The Beach, etc. Signed and inscribed by the author (NOT SHUTE) on the title page and dated 1929. The corners are a bit bumped and the blue topstain is somewhat faded. Very collectible and SCARCE. 356 pages.
